If you’re in San Francisco, specifically the Haight, stop by. It’s a great bookstore, and you can check out Ella’s growing list of favorite books.

Ella has hit the point where she only wants to feed herself. Usually this isn’t a big deal – we give her food that isn’t messy – eggs, noodles, etc. But yesterday we attempted yogurt. And it was MESSY. But she ate it all — so Success! Here, for your viewing pleasure, is the documentation of said event.

Trip to Utah 09

Last week we took a few days off work and headed to see family in Utah. Alex had a bit of work to do there, so it was a good excuse to visit. The time flew by – but I don’t feel like we did anything! We did get to spend a lot of time with family, so it was well worth the time. Here are a bunch of pictures from the trip.

Ella and Gray are just the best of friends. These are pictures from Thursday right when Gray got to the house.

On Friday we visited with Alex’s grandparents.

We then took the trip up to Hooper (pronounced hu-pah) to see Heather’s Aunt Ann and Uncle Max.

On Saturday we took the kids to the Discovery Museum downtown. Ella had a great time. We have more videos of this, but I haven’t uploaded them yet….

I realize now that we didn’t take as many pictures as I thought we did. Maybe Grandma Debbi has more she can send to me. But to close, here’s a video of Gray and “La” playing with a box. The box that kept these two occupied for the entire weekend – seriously, why do we even buy toys?
